Check out this video from an era when Michael Jackson was frequently on the radio, Bill O'Reilly covered celebrity news, and you could go to Gift Bazaar or movies at the local Mann Theaters.

Either nobody reads this blog anymore or they're too freaked out to notice the timing of Dennert's post; a mere few hours before the first news leaked out that MJ was in trouble.
Michael Jackson leaves a sad, but impressive artistic legacy. He was not a king or a god but an ordinary mortal and a talented singer and dancer. Fame for him was a curse and a blessing for the thousands of people touched by his generosity and philanthropy.
For whatever reason in this perverse and irrational universe, the Lord took Michael before either me or the other guy pictured in Dennert's nostalgic video. Here, on this Earth, folks like Bill O'Reilly will still be preening and profiting from Mr. Jackson's corpse.
Rest in peace Michael Jackson.
Hi Brian.
Rj,
I actually posted it the day before but then bumped it to the top of the page. Nobody is a long time reader and commenter.
Thanks for reading and commenting on my blog.
Cory,
You watch the video? Strange timing, eh?
Thanks for reading and commenting on my blog.
I remember that day, Brian...
Barbra,
Why are you Republican and why won't you let us love you?
