I doubted it when I saw my friend Alan post it this morning but it is true.

It really is free slurpee day at Seven-Eleven today because it is 7/11.

Please help spread the word on how to prevent crime in Simi Valley. Send an email to CitizenAlert@simivalley.org and get updates from the Simi Valley Police Department.

It's also, "I couldn't think of anything more worthwhile to write about day." Oh-well, at least not a lot of space used up saying it.

On a light note... just got back from an afternoon of kickball, sponsored by our own local community service group, Good Ju Jus. After a year of various fund raisers, community service projects and just plain old helpfulness where its needed, the Good Ju Jus decided to stage a fun get together, complete with barbecue. I also got to kick an in-field homer!
