There is plenty of fraud to write about within Ventura County government. From Oxnard officials involved in prostitution and drugs rings to Ventura County judges in the probate department taking bribes from lawyers. I think a good place to get material is Oxnard's building departmeent and Judge Barbara Lane's courtroom.
