Anyone see it? I hear it is under control.
The fire was put out before rush hour traffic thanks to our great local firefighters.
Thanks to my sister for posting the picture.

Holy crap that's close...when there's a fire on the side of the road like that, do rubberneckers stop to gawk at it, or do they hightail it out of there?
I drove by about 3:45. I would say it was nearly out at that time. Hand crews with hoses were working the fire and a single helicopter was monitoring from above. It didn't look as though it was ever much of a threat. Yes, the rubberneckers were stopping to look.
I heard this fire started when a republican assemblyman began to change his story about having spanked a lobbyist and suddenly his pants burst into flame!
I heard that it was a sudden lightning strike that caused both the pants and the brush to catch fire.
Speaking of smoke....what's up with the apparently vacant & unsold town homes on Tapo Street? Aren't these the ones that the City invested in with millions in 0% loans? Anyone know anything?
