This video of Tim Allison is from the recent Democratic Party Labor Day BBQ.
Democrat Tim Allison continues to earn endorsements from party leaders in his quest for the nomination of his party in the 24th congressional district ( currently Rep. Gallegly), his latest being from State Party leader Eric Bauman.

State Democratic Party Vice-Chair Eric Bauman Endorses Tim Allison for Congress District 24 Eric Bauman, recently elected as Vice Chair of the California Democratic Party, has announced his endorsement of Tim Allison for Congress in California's 24th Congressional District. His experience in California politics has included a position as senior staff member for Lt. Governor John Garamendi and Director of Governor Davis' Los Angeles Regional Office. "The people of the 24th Congressional District deserve new leadership in Washington from an activist who will fight for Democratic values--education and healthcare reform, environmental protection and the rights of working men and women." Bauman said in announcing his endorsement. "Tim Allison is a proven advocate who will stand up for an improved quality of life for all Californians."Tim has a long record working on state and local campaigns that are focused on these issues," Bauman continued. "He has demonstrated his abilities to organize and lead in a variety of positions ranging from Executive Director of an environmental non-profit and as Political Director for SEIU Local 620, to Campaign Manager of a ballot measure campaign that continues to provide over $2 million in funding annually for creek and water quality restoration. In 2008 he was an early campaign leader for Barack Obama managing the Obama campaign effort in Santa Barbara County and serving as an elected Obama delegate to the Democratic Convention in Denver."
"Tim will bring small business experience to his work in Congress as the successful small businessman who has located homes for families in communities in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties," Bauman concluded.
"The California Democratic Party can be proud of its selection of Eric Bauman to serve as its Vice Chair," notes Allison. "He brings not only the knowledge gained over nine years as chair of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party, but also his devotion to the grassroots, both of which portend great success for our party. I'm very proud to have Eric's endorsement and look forward to working with him and others to strengthen California's future."

Great info Brian. Looking forward to Tim Allison beating Gallegly in 2010!
Bauman knows a good candidate when he sees one. He also endorsed Susan Jordan.
yawwwwn - yet another waste of energy for local Democrats. There are no less than 4 people running for the Democratic nomination, just so they can go on to get their butts handed to them by Gallegly. It's stupid and nothing more than a deluded ego trip.
It doesn't matter which one of the Democrats is on the ticket, what endorsements they have or amount of money they might spend. Not a single one of them has any credibility or name recognition with the voters. Allison doesn't even live in the district.
None of them will get more than 43% of the vote. Mark those words. I'll be back on election night to laugh.
