Natalie Panossian is a local Republican Party activist, a lawyer, and a Federalist Society Member. She sent me this request and I am sharing it with my readers:
I am organizing a Federalist Society forum for December 15th at 6:30 p.m. to discuss Health Care Reform. I have two scholars from the Cato Institute who are opposed to reform or at least the public option and I am looking for two scholars who support the public option proposal. Do you know of any scholars who I may want to contact ? I contacted the Rand Institute and am waiting to hear back from them. I also contacted the USC School of Public Policy and will call UCLA tomorrow as well as the CA Democratic Party.
Thanks,Natalie Panossian
Looks like a great event. Best of luck finding some qualified experts to create an informative debate. Have you tried The American Constitution Society?

The AARP are for health care reform.
Have you checked with the AARP? I always like talking to senior citizens they have so much wisdom and experience.
John McCain asked AARP members to cut their AARP cards in half. It must really hurt AARP members to be attacked by one of their most senior members.
Great job finding someone who agrees with the Republicans and is a scholar. What a needle in the hay stack that is.
Nobody, aren't they looking for Democrats who are scholars?
Yes Eric. It sounds like she just started looking for a democrat scholar. Still not sure why she can't find one at the CATO Institute. It says non-partisan on their brochure. Am I confusing this with the Kato from the O.J. trial?
Thank you Brian for posting my request. It appears that the ACLU might come to my rescue by providing me with two speakers who support health care reform and the public option. With scholars from both CATO and the ACLU, the forum no doubt will be a very interesting intellectual discussion. I hope you can attend.
Natalie,
After the event if you have photos to post send them in.
Thanks for reading and commenting on my blog.
