Rep. Alan Grayson Goes After Rep. Gallegly

He mentions Rep. Gallegly right around the 7 minute mark. Rep. Grayson has been attacking Republicans for being obstructionist. Now he is reading the names of Republican House Members and the projected numbers of people that die from not having health insurance by district.

I would like to see Rep. Capps and Rep. Gallegly debate health care insurance reform even though it appears to be a moot point since Rep. Cantor of Virginia has already pledged to a crowd of tea party activists that Gallegly will vote no.

Gallegly is not a part of the debate over healthcare insurance reform. He won't hold town hall meetings ( even though Republican Rep. McKeon and Democratic Rep. Capps have already held healthcare townhall meetings) and he has already removed himself from any negotiations by letting it be known he isn't open to compromise.

Pelosi-Obama health scare won't even take effect until 2013......what are the uninsured suppose to do until then?

If we could be serious for a moment:

I reached out several times to Elton Gallegly in regards to "Healthcare Reform" and other matters and instead of responding to me in a caring and professional manner he refuses to answer. I now receive strange junk mail on the email address I set aside for very important issues. I should not be harassed by a Republican Congressman for trying to make my Country better.

Elton Gallegly is a threat to the health and welfare of the citizens of the 24th district. He should be removed from office immediately for dereliction of duty and contempt of the citizens he has sworn to serve.

In my opinion, Alan Grayson is a disgrace and an embarrassment to the U. S. Congress. MR. Gallegly was correct in not giving such a shallow minded and bombastic blowhard anothere opportunity shoot off his mouth. Case closed.

Bruce,

Gallegly doesn't debate anyone. Not his opponents and not even other members of congress from this area. He won't hold town hall meetings either.

Sorry Bruce, I agree with Call on this one. Gallegly makes it a point of never debating anyone or holding town hall meetings for his district. That is an embarrasment and voters deserve better. I don't care that he is a member of my party, it is not acceptable behavior.

Gallegly not only won't debate anyone or hold town halls, he will not represent the people in his district. It's far past time for him to go. People like me, who have been in his district for 20 years now risk total loss because our son had the misfortune to get sick.

Grayson is right -- it's the Republican message. Don't get sick. and if you get sick, die fast.

True....but you are dreaming if you think the next guy you put in their is going to represent YOU
