VENTURA COUNTY, CA - 2/15/10 -- We are excited to announce
another law enforcement leader endorsing Commander Geoff Dean
for Sheriff. Former Ventura County Sheriff John Gillespie has
endorsed Geoff to be the next Sheriff of Ventura County. Gillespie
was the Chief of Police for the City of Ojai and joined the Sheriff's
Department as Undersheriff to Sheriff Al Jalaty. After serving in that
position he was elected Sheriff and served with distinction for two
