Join us on Saturday, 27 February at 4:00 as we come together to organize Marie Panec's campaign for the 24th Congressional District Democratic Primary Election.
Meet with Marie, members of her grassroots leadership team and new campaign staff. Share your concerns for the district, bring your ideas and help plan a course of action for the campaign and let's win this election together!
Of Elton Gallegly, Marie says, "the incumbent is doing a woefully inadequate job of representing this district. He is out of touch with his constituents and the needs of the people. His unquestioning support of destructive economic policies of the last decade, foreign policy that does not keep us safe, and his current obstructionism are intolerable."
If you're ready to push him out, if you're ready to push the change agenda in Congress, then it's time to "Push for Panec!" Marie invites you to get engaged in her campaign. Find out how you can be part of something great, take meaningful action, and make a difference in your own community.

Her opponent is Tim Allison in the June Democratic Primary election, not Gallegly.
What I want to see from a Democrat is how tough they will be on Gallegly in the fall. I am not interested in them attacking each other. I have seen Democrats go after each other with passion in the primary and then fold their campaign once they win the nomination. I'd rather they show us in the primary how they would measure up to the incumbent.
The best thing we can do during the primary contest is to compare the candidates and consider electability and qualifications to serve. If the primary candidates pull their punches, we will be sending a democratic candidate forward into the general election who might not be able to stand up to the attacks that Gallegly's campaign is sure to make when the race gets serious.
I am supporting Marie Panec because she is not a partisan, political insider. She has real governance experience on the Oak Park Unified School Board and a background in science, technology and education that will serve this district well. The voters are disgusted with partisan politics. Most of us are in the middle and find the positions of the left and right equally incomprehensible.
Marie is practical, effective, and one of the most ethical people I have ever met. Come the general election, moderate Republicans and Independents will vote for her common sense approach.
