Marie Panec is running for the Democratic nomination for the 24th congressional district. I received yet another press release about her starting to campaign but it doesn't address Gallegly's record nor does it show she is reaching out to independent voters.
Sure she has started campaigning for the nomination of her party but I haven't seen her do much to show how tough of an opponent she would be for Rep. Elton Gallegly. I will start paying attention when she starts proving herself worthy of taking on Gallegly, by actually taking on Gallegly. If her plan is to wait until June to start going after his record that is too late.

Come on Brian, the title of this entry is more than a little misleading.
Marie Panec has indeed been running a robust campaign.
I know you have a viewpoint as to how you think each of the three candidates should be running, but it's really up to them to best decide how they present themselves to the electorate, and how they want to frame their message.
The Democratic voters are lucky to have three candidates, all with distinct styles and backgrounds, from which to choose.
