Democratic Party nominee Tim Allison took has been working hard in his campaign to bring a serious challenge to Rep. Elton Gallegly. As of now Rep. Gallegly does have the advantage but that isn't because Tim Allison isn't working hard. Here are some photographs from his 4th of July weekend.

He started campaigning at the Ojai Valley Parade with family and other supporters:

He then attended a fundraiser put on by the Working Blue Democratic Club that he helped organize:

In this photograph are Heather and Hank Lacayo, Jason Hodge, Ferial Masry, Rep. Lois Capps, Leah Lacayo, Bill Fulton and Tim Allison.

The Working Blue Democratic Club is raising money to open offices in East County, including Simi Valley, for the November elections. Anyone interested in helping can run the offices can contact them or their local Democratic Club. The offices will be helping elect Democrats to office including local offices.

Elton Gallegly has been in office for far too long, and has accomplished far too little in his two decades in office. He voted with George W. Bush over 95% of the time, and voted against bringing needed jobs and money to our county before taking credit for it.

We need a representative who will take the job seriously and work to bring great jobs to Ventura County while respecting our common values. Tim Allison is a stand-up guy who will finally give Ventura County the representation it deserves.

I'm going to call this one right now. Gallegly: 59, Allison: 41.

Elton Gallegly has represented his district extremely well during his tenure in Congress. He has always made decisions based on what's best for the people he represents, despite pressure from his politically correct opponents in Congress.

One good example of this is his consistent opposition to amnesty proposals for illegal immigrants. Elton has stood firm in his commitment to protecting the jobs and economic interests of U.S. citizens first and foremost and this means providing greater protection of our southern borders and enforcing our laws when it comes to dealing with illegal immigrants, particularly those that come to this country for the sole purpose of engaging in criminal enterprises.

If elected, Tim Alison will line up behind the same failing policies coming out of the Obama Administration right now (higher taxes, bigger government, ceding to the will of foreign nations like Mexico over the interests of American citizens, etc.). This is not what we need right now and people are starting to recognize that more and more.

If you think we're on the wrong path as a nation right now, please do the right thing in November. Show your continued support for Elton Gallegly as our representative in Congress. You won't regret it.

Always use your real name when you kiss butt... Let me write that down.

Why is Tim Allison running? I looked at his website. He raised lots of money for Obama in 08. Looking at his utubes, he is a huge fan and supporter of Obama and Biden. Ok I get the message. However, he never practiced law with his U of Minnosota law degree. He sells RE in Santa Barbara. His stated income and real estate sales record appear to be very thin. He says he is a community advocate and organizer. What community would that be in? The old one or the new one? He only moved there to run in #24? Will he give up his apartment in #24 and move back to his house if he loses or wins? Why didn't he run againist Capps. She is the one needing to be replaced not Gallegly. Not to mention he has no real experience in the public sector. What qualifies him to represent 24 in Washington? Help me out here.
