Have you been following the Countrywide VIP loan scandal? In response to Buck McKeon's claims of not knowing almost anything a reader sent me this note:
Countrywide build a huge loan processing center in Lancaster in McKeon's district. The developer who built the loan processing center is Frank Visco, former State Party Chair of the Republican Party and a financial backer of Buck McKeon.
Visco has two homes - one in Lancaster the other in Sherwood Country Club. Who was Visco's neighbor in Sherwood? Angelo Mozilo!

Who is Anthony Mozilo?
I don't know but they both sound like Mafioso to me...
I corrected the email to use the proper first name.
EN,
I think that sounds like profiling to me. I would expect you to use more professional detective procedures.
Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.), chairman of the Senate banking committee, received $133,900 in campaign contributions from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Rep. Paul Kanjorski (D-Pa.) received $65,500. Kanjorski chairs the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance and Government-Sponsored Enterprises, and Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae are government-sponsored enterprises, or GSEs.
Hey, Eliot, you better be careful about who you call Mafioso. Angelo is likely to dispatch Luigi and Bruno to your house to breaka your kneecaps.
"Judge strikes down Fla pension contribution law
Associated Press
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Gov. Rick Scott and the Legislature violated the state constitution when they enacted a law requiring Florida teachers, police officers, state workers and other public employees to contribute 3 percent of their pay toward their pensions, a judge ruled Tuesday in a decision that could cost the state $2 billion."
Here once again the GOP/tea party breaks the law and costs the taxpayer big bucks!
The Star had a story today on what many are calling "FOYGATE". Looks like Foy's son was using Foy's truck and even a house Foy listed as his in his illegal drug manufacturing case. Totten backed out because he has a conflict of interest because he and Foy are big buddies on the VCRCC and a State Investigation has now taken over. Foy would not comment to the Star. Foy needs to answer though if he knew about this illegal activity and if so when? Did any of this drug money help fund his Campaigns? What did Foy know and when did he know it? The voters deserve answers! If Foy did know this was going on and he did nothing about it or if he profitted in anyway he should resign! Quit dodging the Star and come clean Foy! If Foy has nothing to hide he should start talking. During the WM talks Foy would only meet and talk to WM, WM gave him big bucks and then Foy voted to expand the dump that will give WM a 100 billion dollars over the next 30 years and will leave a mountain of trash in Moorpark and Simi that will last forever! Will this be the legacy of Foy?
The Florida pension decision is just another classic example of liberal, activist judges intervening in cases where they have no business being involved in. What is so illegal about having employees pay a portion of their pension costs?
More cities and counties across the country are moving towards this same approach because government entities are going broke trying to fund these gold-plated pension plans their employees have been receiving. They are completely unsustainable and will cause State governments and local government agencies (cities, counties, school districts, and special districts) to declare bankruptcy in the future.
Activist judges? You mean like the kind all the republicans ran crying to in order to try and stop National Healthcare? Republicans love breaking the law and cry like babies when busted!
