Dr. Lee Rogers (D-Simi Valley) is continuing to demand that Rep. Buck McKeon (R-Santa Clarita) release more information about his special deal from CountryWide Home Loans. He is also arguing that Rep. McKeon should donate the amount he benefited from CountryWide to the US Treasury.

The lobbyist from CountryWide claims he gave politicians special deals to influence them. The politicians that took the special deals claim they didn't know they were receiving special treatment.
What type of lobbyist would try to bribe a politician but not let them know?
We Can't Have Bribes in Congress
Dear Friends,
Recently we launched a new website: PayItBackBuck.com. It highlights Congressman Howard "Buck" McKeon's involvement in the Countrywide home-loan scandal and tells him to pay back the illegal benefit he received from the now-defunct mortgage giant.
The website also features Republican Congressman Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight & Government Reform Committee, who described the kinds of deals McKeon received as "bribes."
These kinds of special deals have no place in Congress, and I plan to introduce legislation to hammer down on these practices in Washington.
Please help me by sharing PayItBackBuck.com with you friends on Facebook, Twitter, and over email.
If you haven't already, please sign the petition for Buck to pay back his illegal benefit to the US Treasury, which bailed out Countrywide at taxpayer expense in 2008.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Dr. Lee Rogers

The whole point of government is to protect us from the negative elements of capitalism...so shouldn't we elect people that are actually CRITICAL of capitalism to do that job? Instead, we just elect capitalists to regulate capitalism. Not smart.
