I fully support Tim Shannon's inclusion of a clover in his campaign sign. The Irish shamrock is a three-leaf clover. So, if you want to truly represent yourself as an Irish candidate, you should use the three-leaf clover.

Irish Candidate? This is America last time I checked. Maybe Gibson is hoping Romney will ship American jobs to Ireland the way he shipped American jobs to China and India. I prefer candidates who put red white and blue on their signs!

He is not a member of my party, but in the twenty years since I first met him, he appears to be a decent and fair minded guy. He should make a good council member.

3 or 4 - leaf - it sets his signs apart from the monotony of others and he is proud of his heritage. It inspired me to consider his candidacy and search out his background and positions.
I'm voting for Shannon mainly because he's the most qualified candidate. It doesn't hurt too that my Mother's name was McClintock. :-)

I don't care what is on the sign....take it down. This person has placed a huge sign,(secured with fenceposts) directly in front of my place of business. What gives them that right? My business does not support any of this candidate (or any others), but from where they placed the sign, it gives the impression that our corporation supports Shannon. How do I get it removed? I would take it down myself, but I am sure that would violate some election law.
Leave the sign up, punk! You have no right to tamper with private property and, you're right, if you take it down you can be charged with vandalism and/or malicious mischief.
And how do you know your company doesn't support Shannon? Have you asked your CEO? I highly doubt it. You are so grossly misinformed and just too plain stupid to know anything.

The guy who left the previous post is a complete imbecile. Everyone knows that it is completely legal to place campaign signs in the public right-of-way. The public right-of-way areas in my city (Ventura) are overflowing with campaign signs right now. I realize this fool is probably a product of the public school system, but he needs to read the local laws for comprehension next time.
Obama's previous comments about how stridently he believes in wealth redistribution and Socialist principles is coming out in full force during this campaign.
