My vote on Proposition 2 won't surprise people I know very much. I wear a St. Francis necklace and I quote him often. Are you going to join me in voting for Proposition 2?

I haven't finalized how I am going to vote on all of the spending propositions although I am inclined to vote against them all. If there is a moving reason for a particular proposition, leave a comment and try to convince me and others.

12 seems like a large number of propositions. Anyone know what the record in modern California history is for the the most ballot propositions?

The Simi Valley Democrats will be discussing some ballot propositions at their next meeting. Here is the announcement:

The Simi Valley/Moorpark Democratic club will be discussing the propositions that will appear on the November ballot, including initiatives on parental notification, redistricting, alternative energy and others.

The meeting will be held 7pm, Wed., Oct, 15 at the Simi Valley Library community room, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road.
