Thank you to my readers that responded to my request to help students go to the Cory Booker event. My readers bought tickets for 4 students. I appreciate your support. I think it is good that students are able to learn from a wide variety of people. I have recently taken students to listen to Donald Rumsfeld, Ari Fleischer , Jeb Bush, and Cory Booker.

It was an amazing night. I was able to bring 4 students to the rooftop of the London in Los Angeles. My students met Cory Booker, Eric Garcetti and Star Trek actor Chris Pine.

They were the only high school students I saw there. The place was full of business leaders and other professionals. My students were able to talk with leaders like Jodi Gomes and Farrah Gray.

The pictures they took with Cory Booker came out great. I am sure they will remember this night for a long time. Cory Booker is an inspiring speaker. He inspires me.

The picture at the top was taken by a student with an interest in film. It shows the reflection of Cory Booker with Eric Garcetti over the Los Angeles skyline.

Thank you to Paula Day Williams, Shanna Sarris and the other donor for helping. My students and I appreciate it. I will make it worth it by encouraging them to stay involved.

Thank you.

(Neil DeGrasse Tyson on the value of space exploration)

Astronaut Buzz Aldrin is going to be at the Reagan Library.

Thank you Bill Hole for making sure students from Vista and Royal High School had tickets. I appreciate your time and effort for education. I am glad I met you!

What value do you see in space exploration?

Rand Paul @ The Reagan Library

I am excited Rand Paul is going to be at the Reagan Library. What do you want to listen to him discuss?

I want to listen to him discuss his position on drones being that this area is talking about becoming a "Drone Zone". I am also interested in him explaining his statements about the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

The Reagan Library has other exciting events coming up. Click here for their calendar.

Bill O'Reilly To Speak At The Reagan Library

Fox News Commentator Bill O'Reilly will be speaking at The Reagan Library in Simi Valley next Sunday. Click on continue reading for details. I might try to find some tickets for young conservative students I know. If you would like to sponsor one or more young conservatives send me an email and I will help make it happen. Sometimes going to an exciting event is enough to get them involved for many years in politics. I got a few students in to see the Republican Party primary debate and one of them liked it enough that he has already gotten tickets for this event.

Do you watch Bill O'Reilly often?

I watch Bill O'Reilly from time to time but I am not much into his politics. He is a better entertainer than Rush Limbaugh, but between his war on Christmas , making up new enemies ( Are you afraid of the SP movement? Take the test and post the results if you dare!), complaining about the level of political discourse in the country while dragging it down himself I don't get much from his show. He isn't wrong or doctrine conservative on every issue but his routine gets old quick. But with all of that said he is a better entertainer then many people on channels or stations like PBS.

What are the odds local Democrats will be greeting him by the driveway to The Reagan Library?

This picture was taken outside the Reagan Library and taken from The Moorpark-Simi Valley Democratic Party website. I don't remember what the event was that drew people there. Don't call any small group of people waving signs a protest, I prefer the word rally myself.
