Real estate professional Ted Mackel hosted a tech night for local business people recently that I posted the announcement for on my blog. I wasn't able to make it but Mike Chandler, the blogger behind The Simi Show and VoteSimiValley.com, went with his camera. The above video is mostly a summary but after watching it if you are interested in attending the next session leave a comment to help Ted Mackel gauge the demand for his seminars.

Local real estate professional Ted Mackel will be hosting a tech night to help local businesses and politicians find innovative ways to communicate with the public.

He writes a blog mostly focused on real estate but he occasionally writes on a variety of topics. Recently he wrote a criticism of the city's tax and growth policies. Click here to read his entry.

If you are interested in social networking for political or business reasons his workshop could be very helpful. As part of his presentation he is going to give an overview of the social networking that helped propel President Barack Obama to victory.

Ted, why do you think John McCain' supporters weren't as successful at using new forms of technology to support their candidate? Any chance you will be using some of these techniques and ideas to support any local politicians?
