Republican HQ Opens in Simi Valley

| | Comments (1)

Earlier this evening I attended the grand opening of the Republicans headquarters in Simi Valley.

And, it was a grand evening. Among the attendees were Congressman Elton Gallegley and his wife, Simi Valley Mayor Paul Miller, City Council members Barbra Williamson and Glen Beccera.

More than 70 people attended. Lots of precinct walkers, phone bankers and people who care about Simi Valley and out State and Nation.

Lots of talk about Gov. Sarah Palin, disgust with the new budget and folks anxious to do what they can to elect Tony Strickland to the State Senate. The good news from the GOP leadership that voters registration is picking up and folks are coming out of the woodwork to help the cause.

If you are interested, the location is 3208 Los Angeles Avenue, in the strip mall. The phone number is 805-462-7914. Thanks to Peggy Sadler for the invitation and her leadership to organizing the Simi Valley GOP headquarters. Stop by, say hello, take a lawn sign and sign up to help the Team.

Oh, I heard a rumor that the HQ is going to have a debate watching party next Friday next. Will report if I hear more about it.

I wish I would have known about this sooner so I could have got a few dozen patriotic Americans together and gone and demonstrated in front of Gallegly. Gallegly has is fingerprints all over the financial mess we are in today. Hwe voted time and time to deregulate.
