Note to readers
This blog is finally back online! There were technical problems, and we were unable to get support because of the holidays (which apparently included Columbus Day, Halloween, U.N. Day and Left-handed Uzbekistanian Pride Day, besides Thanksgiving and Christmas). But hey, the cartoons are finally back and updated!

Had Gov. Schwarzenegger not infuriated his conservative base with the appointment of a Democrat, lesbian, former Gray Davis aide as his chief of staff, would he have been less inclined to reassure that base by denying clemency to spare the life of "Tookie" Williams? We'll never know...
