Darfur refugees

A news story about Israel turning away refugees from Darfur seemed a bit misleading, suggesting Israel was somehow being hard-hearted where other nations weren't, when in fact it's pretty much the reverse. Israel has taken in hundreds of Darfur refugees with little structure in place to care for them and despite the fact that Sudan is hostile to Israel, while few other nations have accepted them. In a way, the Israeli government is trying to enforce its own immigration laws, while opposing views within that country are calling for a more humanitarian approach to opening its borders for these people... sound familiar?
