Writers Guild goes on strike
Comments
And don't forget the many more "reality shows" we'll get to look forward to!
Posted by: Steve Greenberg at November 6, 2007 3:06 PMIf memory serves, weren't Jay Leno and David Letterman former joke writers for some other late night host? I know they were once both stand-up comedians (before they decided to sit down).
Why can't they write their own jokes? Regis Philbin is still on the air...Live...with Kelly.
I don't stay up late enough to watch them, but, I've heard they're in or soon will be in re-runs.
As writers, Leno, Letterman...and even Regis, shouldn't, cross the picket lines. I support the writers, even though I dislike unions, and will find something else to do until they get their rightful share of the proceeds from the work they contribute. If they don't address it now, they will be screwed in the multimedia future.

Thanks, Amber, you write well for a cat!

The one thing that I discover laborious is figuring out whilst to cease work and when I can really start it. I have a younger family so time is a serious problem for me.

All those new shows that were cancelled after only one or two episodes will find their way back to Prime Time. Joy, oh joy! Now, we get to watch the mundane...along with the mediocre re-runs. Oh, happy day!
