As she popped her head out of the vehicle to wave to her supporters, she was shot in the neck. But, she died from a skull fracture suffered when her head hit the roof of that SUV.
RIP!

At the moment, the are at least three cause-of-death reports, and different stories are distributed by various factions with various political agendas.

I think the Republican White House had her killed to create more instability to give them a reason to go into Pakistan.

Fear and threats of danger are the only political weapons the Republicans have. The Republicans have a history of using fear and threats.

Hati is a perfect example of Republicans destroying democracy.
The Republican White House disrupted the democratic process in Hati and they are doing the same thing in Pakistan. The Bush Administration has been giving the current president of Pakistan billions of dollars. They must have threatend to cut if off if he didn't kill her.

She was obviously someone who would not associate herself with scumbag Republicans.

The man wearing the explosive vest might have been al Qaeda, but, I think the man with the gun was one of Musharraf's people. By disrupting his opposition, and throwing them into turmoil, he all but guarantees his party victory in the upcoming elections...whenever they may happen.

I don't know... you don't think there might be a big sympathy vote for the Bhutto family now?

There are no more Bhuttos left. HeR husband and her 19 year old son don't carry the Bhutto name. But, if her party can reorganize, maybe there will be a sympathy vote.
But, does anyone have the charisma she had? Can anybody rally the country as she probably would have? Can anyone stand up against Musharraf like she did?
Sharif (?sp) already said he'd be sitting out the election. Maybe he will change his mind.
