Oil hits $100 a barrel

qqxsgOilWaterboarding.jpg

As 2008 begins, crude oil hit the milestone price of $100 per barrel for the first time, a sign that $4 a gallon gasoline at the pump may not be far behind. But will this be enough to make Americans begin to turn from their profligate ways?

I like this cartoon.
Maybe we DO need to "Oilboard" our elected officials.

Yep, it's amazing how long the gas-guzzler trend has continued[?!]. I've seen so many new suv's and full-size trucks on the road lately[?]. I'm guessing that most don't understand the concept of supply & demand - the big picture - or just don't care.
Detroit builds whatever will sell - if suv sales tanked they wouldn't build them anymore..
Perhaps we need a cartoon on the move to ethanol, that's a joke too..!
