Obama's historic moment
Regardless of how you feel about the candidate, this is a truly remarkable moment in American history.

Posted by: Steve Greenberg at September 19, 2008 12:13 PMDear Mr. Greenberg:
I was wondering if you i could use your cartoon on a personal Tshirt with your cartoon of August 29 entitled "Obama's historic moment" You did such a wonderful job. It would be just for me but i would not do it if its not ok with you. It has been circulating in emails and it came to me with a great quote. I love it. Your cartoons are amazing.
here is the quote that came to me with your cartoon:
"Crispus Attucks fell so that Rosa Parks could sit, Rosa Parks sat so that Dr. Martin Luther King could march, Dr. Martin Luther King marched so that Barack Obama could run, and Barack Obama is running so that our children and grandchildren can fly."
Dee
Dee: Those words beginning with "Crispus Attucks fell' were NOT my words nor part of my cartoon, and I don't know who added them, even though the cartoon is circulating widely with those tacked-on words. I really don't wish to promote altered versions of my work, even if they're well-intended.
Posted by: Steve Greenberg at November 3, 2008 9:30 AMIs it possible for me to purchase the cartoon "Obama;s Historic Moment?" What would be the cost involved? The cartoon is a well thoughtout piece.
