Metrolink crash
It's the worst tragedy in Metrolink history, with 26 dead (at this writing), seemingly caused by an engineer who ran red signals. But there are also unconfirmed (and chilling) reports that the engineer may have been text messaging some teenaged train buffs shortly before the crash.

What did we ever do before we were slaves to technology? What will it take before use of these gadgets while driving any vehicle are outlawed? It wouldn't have to be that way if some people were not to stupid to live!
