Intelligent Design
If there was "Intelligent Design" in the creation of our universe, you have to admit that Pat Robertson sat out some of the classes on Public Relations. Say what you will about Intelligent Design and whether it belongs in the classroom, but Mr. Robinson is WAY out of line with his comments about retribution over voting.

Do you forsee a local debate being started on intelligent design?

To me, ID is a distraction from the “why Johnny and Janey can’t read” discussion. ID in or out of the schools gets us no closer to having world class schools, or competing on an international scale.

Tim:
I am always very concerned by comments like this where relgion becomes a mere political division tool rather than a means of salvation and a way to bring us together.
Didn't he also say that God was punishing the US with 9/11 or was that Jerry Falwell?
I disagree. I am humble enough to realize that I cannot speak for God. I wish others on both sides of the political aisle would also be humble before god as well.
