Moorpark Voters look like they are rejecting the North Park Nature Reserve tonight in Moorpark. On Absentees alone, "NO" is crushing "yes".
Did Moorpark voters just send $70 million for Moorpark schools packing?

All I can say is this was a resounding defeat. The "Yes" campaign had big bucks backing it, yet got blown out of the water. I'd be interested in knowing why Moorpark residents felt so strongly about this.
My guess is the developer will retool the project (e.g. scale it back) and present another plan to the City. They've invested too much at this point to totally back out.
