Re: Frank Moraga’s July 29 essay, “A state of disagreement”:
I haven’t been to Flagstaff, Ariz., recently, but I suspect that Arizonans’ thoughts on Mexican immigration are similar to mine and that Mr. Moraga either doesn’t understand the matter very well or he is deliberately dissembling.
The objection of almost everyone I know on the matter of Mexican immigration is that we strongly object to illegal immigration — not immigration, but illegal immigration, and not just illegal Mexican immigration, but all illegal immigration. It always amazes me how “immigration advocates” get away with the use of the term “undocumented aliens” to soothe the harsh moral reality of illegal immigration.
I would appreciate it if The Star’s director of diversity, whatever that is supposed to mean, would do a column discussing immigration from everywhere, not just Mexico, and include in his analysis his and The Star’s views on immigration versus illegal immigration.

Well put, Richard... But the liberals do not accept the rule of law, so the term illegal means nothing to them whenever it suits them--yet they'll throw it at the Conservatives to try and defeat them in a textbok Alinsky method.
Laws and literal Constitutionality, which should be "hard lines" are easily subverted by their socio-political wishy washy agendas and liberal "right/wrong" constructs and activist judges. Liberalism and 90% of what the Democrats now stand for--maybe more than 90%--is the knife in the back of this country, weakening it from the inside out. But politically-majority impotent liberals would rather over-emotionally whine and obstruct and judicial-fiat than exercise true greatness and integrity and intellect. Afterall, the "bad boy" is in, the "Boy Scout" is out... Even the trm diversity, which was a fine, good term, now has been perverted by the liberals into the socially-forced-acceptance of much social and Biblical evil--making the righteous the "intolerant bigoted" bad guys. That mirror shines both ways--but only one way if you are loking at it with "The Light of the world". There is Hope!
