I am concerned about the Muslim reaction to caricatures of Muhammad in Danish newspapers. The drawings have touched a raw nerve, in part because Islamic law is interpreted to forbid any depictions of the prophet Muhammad for fear they could lead to idolatry.
What is interesting to me is that although Muhammad may not be an idol the Muslims worship, it seems more and more apparent that the Molotov cocktail is.
It would be comical were it not so serious. I have seen Christians with St. Christopher medals on their dashboards. What is the Muslim equivalent? A Kalashnikov AK47?
Muslims seem to be 500 years behind the rest of the world. I find it increasingly difficult to be tolerant of a religion that is so intolerant of others.
The Pilgrims came to America to escape religious persecution. The Muslims seem to want to kill every infidel or anyone who disagrees with the Koran.
I am in favor of freedom of the press. Furthermore, I refuse to ever submit to Muslim freedom of oppression.
