Re: Terry Paulson’s Feb. 27 essay, “The battle of the sexes�:

Perhaps Mr. Paulson could have boiled his piece down to just one simple statement like, “I like the Republican regime in the White House and Congress because their invasion and occupation of Iraq makes me feel like a manly-man.� What freedom-loving person wouldn’t feel good about the fall of Saddam Hussein, or, for that matter, the fall of all the other dictators throughout the world?

But how can Paulson or anyone else ignore the quagmire, the mess, the debt, the death that this Republican regime has created? Everything they told us about their Iraqi misadventure has been completely false.

But Paulson remains happy the Republicans are in control so he can feel like a man. Wow!

Their ignorance is due to the fact that hundreds of media compete for the their attention. I don't watch what my neighbor watches.
