Why doesn't the media ever ask the politicians how they are going to fulfill their campaign promises?
Steve Westly and Phil Angelides are promising to fully fund education and other services. Why don't they explain how they are going to do that? Why do Democrats avoid trying to fix failed systems or fix other problems? Instead, they are just going to fully fund them.
Why don't the Democrats propose any investigation of healthcare costs and pricing? Why don't the Democrats investigate why so many students can't pass the high school exit exam?
The only person who had the courage to speak out and try to fix Sacramento was Arnold Schwarzenegger. The media and the Democrats waged a very successful propaganda campaign to block his proposals and mount a campaign to try to block his reelection.
It's a shame that politicians aren't held to the same standards as businessmen. The business leaders who have been prosecuted for misstatements or omissions of material facts are saints compared to any of the politicians - or media writers.
