Driving through Oxnard recently, I passed the area where 1,800 homes and three schools are under way. I can already imagine a traffic and congestion nightmare. Surely, this could have been better planned.
Oxnard is overbuilt, especially around Pacifica High School, which is penned in on all sides by homes built like assembly line look-alikes. Gonzales Road as a route has become a difficult choice.
In my opinion, a large development is a small area that speaks out like a “peninsula. It was a bad choice!
Think and plan before you build!
