Respect the presidency

Re: Richard Larsen’s July 4 essay, “Reclaiming our authority:

I certainly respect Mr. Larsen’s right to disagree with our president. I have disagreed with some presidents in my time, too, including this one. I wish, however, that those who drone on about the president’s heavy-handedness regarding civil rights would do two things:

— Study history. Previous administrations have routinely been far more intrusive regarding civil rights and the rights of the press than anything happening under President Bush’s watch. Have we forgotten the internment camps and censured media during Franklin Roosevelt’s presidency?

— Remember that we are at war. Wartime is different from peacetime. Wartime calls for citizens, including the media, to make sacrifices — something that our self-indulgent generation seems to know nothing about. Wartime calls for patriotism, defined as “love of country, devotion to the welfare of one’s country and willingness to sacrifice for it.
How sad to find what appears to be yet another hate-the-president essay on the Fourth of July, no less.

It is wonderful you have a good understading of the history of America Mr. Hale. I appreciate your acknowledgement of our President's illegal activity. I do not agree with your justification due to the behavior of past Presidents. The Republicans sold the Iraq war like a used car and we are all broken down on the side of the road. The use of the illegal killing of innocent people from Iraq does not give them an excuse to break the laws of the United States.

Typical left-wing response, just ignore the facts and keep repeating the same rubbish. If Mr. Stein's car broke I'm sure he would blame it on the president.

Dear XYZPDQ,
It is difficult to respect the words of someone too much a coward to use their full name. If you would really like an example of somebody ignoring the facts and the law look no further than George W. Bush and the Republican party. I don't need to know your name to know your a coward and a fool just like the leaders you have sold your soul for.

Mr. Stein, why do you care who I am? It seems that your only purpose in life is to to slander anyone that disagrees with your uninformed opinions. It's probably best for anyone dealing with people like yourself to remain anonymous. Unfortunately, it's your family that must suffer the embarassing indignity of being publically associated with you. They have my pity.

To Michael Stein:
Yours is yet another of the typical left-wing attacks on the administration's war policy.
You all spew forth the "Bush lied people died" mantra but you refuse to admit that almost every single democrat in Congress sided with him.
He had the very same intelligence that they had. ALL of your heroes said we should go to war against Sadaam Hussein:

Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Howard Dean, ect.
In 2004, over a year AFTER we invaded Iraq, former President Bill Clinton STILL sided with the Bush Administration's decision to invade.

HELLLLOOOOOOO!!!

I would be disappointed if I didn't upset some people with my writing. I was hoping the calibur of people disagreeing with me were people with enough belief in themselves and what they are saying to give their name.
That facts are the people you refer to made the mistake of believing George W. Bush and made decisions based on his lies.
It is people like yourself. The cowards. The blind followers. The Republican supporters no matter what. The slime like you who doesn't care about anybody. People like you who thinks it's just a game like a football game the Republicans against the Democrates. Your the ones that have brought shame upon this whole country.
When Penis Cheney went to congress to ask for the right to torture people you cheered. Your the biggest pile of steaming worthless crap on the planet. I don't blindly follow anyone. Your not the least bit American. Your not the least bit a man. I pitty everyone that knows you. Your parents had to be the biggest, two-faced, unAmerican facsist corksuckers on the planet to raise a worthless coward like yourself.

I only want to know your name and address so I can send you a picture of my Father during World War 2 with his foot on your fathers face and a picture of my Mother having dinner with Nancy Reagan at the White House disussing her civic achievements.
Maybe some good examples of real Americans would help you become a man.

Here is what I got from your hero.

The United States of America

George Bush and his Republican friends lied to my Father. They are not honoring him. He did not fight in the trenches during World War 2 to have some redneck hick texan make up his own rules.

Let me correct myself none of the Veterens in all the wars and battles fought in American History and elsewhere in regards to freedom did it so some redneck hick texan could make up his own rules.

Mr. Stein, you are showing clear signs of delusional paranoia. Your outbursts, profanity, and threats against others don't portray you in the best light and certainly don't help your credibility. Please seek some professional help.

In a way, each of us has some Republicans to face. For some, shyness might be their Republicans. For others, a lack of education might be their Republicans. For us, Republicans are a big, dangerous torture fanatics with too much power and mindless thoughtless followers who want to kill us. But as sure as my name is Michael Stein, the people of the United States can conquer their own personal Republicans, who also happens to be *the actual* Republicans!

Now, you're resorting to bad "Three Amigos" quote rip-offs.
I concur with xyzpdq - GET HELP.
Also, take my earlier advice and enroll in a basic English course . . .

Tony you should be behind a window tossing pizzas not on my computer.

Not providing extra cheese for your friend xyzpdq.

At least Tony has a real job. I'm sure that Mr. Stein is still living at home collecting an allowance from his parents.

Hahaha that is his job. Oh sorry. What do you do xyzpdq at 9:25 am Mcdonalds drive thru slow today.

Mr. Stein likes to talk a tough game, but the reality is that he lives with his parents and jerks off in front of his computer screen every night because he can't get a real girlfriend. Go back to school and stop being such a dweeb. I'm sure that girls don't find you very attractive, but if you at least develop a personality it might help with the ladies.

Your such a joke. You can't even use your real name and you talk about talking a tough game. If your Wendy your a skank who used to work at Marie Calenders on T.O. Blvd. and had sex with every cop that came in. You had more pork than Farmer John.
The only time I feel like I am jerking off in front of a computer screen is when I have to reply to your air head comments that is a value to nobody. Go back under the table at the cops favorite booth and get back to work.
