I found the proximity of Larsen's essay on Dick Cheney’s 1 percent doctrine and the commentary from Parker on the very next page about the administration's dithering over the Lebanon dust-up sad, yet amusing.
If it weren't for the fact that our fellow citizens are at risk for life and limb, far from home, inadequately provided for, surrounded by hostile antagonists, I'd laugh out loud.
Then there's the situation of civilians trapped in Lebanon.
I can hardly wait for November.
