Developer support
The city of Simi Valley's new temporary sign ordinance that keeps signs out of the public right of way requires that property owners give permission for signs on their land. As a result, not only is clutter along our streets reduced, but also we know who a candidate's supporters really are.
I'd like to point out that there is a sign supporting Peter Foy for county supervisor at the bottom of the “Happy Face Hill" where the developer is starting to alter the appearance of the entrance to our city. This isn't hearsay, mud-slinging or less-than-the-whole-story. This is a candidate being advertised by a developer.
In what other ways is Foy being supported by those who would carve up our hills? Why has Foy been able to raise twice as much money as Jim Dantona? Inquiring voters want to know.
