As residents of the Conejo Valley, one of our most important obligations is to keep our school system strong. As part of that task, it is vital that we re-elect Pat Phelps to the Conejo Valley Unified School District Board of Education.

Pat has proven herself to be informed on school issues, to see the big picture, to articulate the priorities of our schools and to work cooperatively. She is a role model of civility and maturity that our children may follow. Pat is a highly respected advocate for our children; she listens to the concerns of parents; and she attends student performances, open houses, and back to school nights. Pat understands curriculum, school standards, test scores and balance sheets.

Pat Phelps is the best person to keep our schools strong. It is our duty to ensure that our school district remains one of the best in the state of California. For that reason, we feel it is our honor to vote for Pat Phelps on Nov. 7, and we hope you will, too.
