Ann McFeatters offers 13 suggestions to President Bush that are certainly excellent advice. However, to indicate that the point is to ensure that historians will say nice things about the ex-president takes far too lightly a very serious situation for the country as a whole.
This is the basis for the grassroots effort to impeach Bush and Vice President Cheney. The fact that so few presidential candidates are willing to publicly support McFeatters' advice should cause us great concern about the next presidency. If Bush fails to heed this advice, or is not encouraged to do so by impeachment, the 2008 election process may have only losers.
