Re: your Nov. 29 article, “Is there a doctor in ‘House’: Physicians weigh in on how hit TV show diverges from the real practice of medicine:
Whoa! What a shocker to find out that Dr. Gregory House is not typical of today's doctors! What an investigative coup by Dr. Cesar Aristeiguieta! Next, you'll be telling me that the three-hour DNA identification analysis in “CSI is a hoax, and it actually takes many days to test DNA.
Oh no, I'm covering my ears if you spill the beans that in hospitals, unlike the one in “Grey's Anatomy, doctors are rarely having sex during their breaks. And please don't burst my bubble by letting the cat out of the bag concerning the truth about “ER: That is, despite what I've seen, nurses and paramedics cannot really become doctors nearly overnight. Come on! What's next?
At least we have “Bones, the genius at the Jeffersonian, whose team uses the virtual reality machine to nab perpetrators. That is true, isn't it?
