My family and I would like to thank my employer, Kavlico, and my coworkers in Building 2 for donating $176 to Toys for Tots in honor of my son, Sophear Riem, who was murdered at a bachelor party in Port Hueneme in November. My supervisor at Kavlico, a Moorpark-based manufacturer of sensors for the automobile and aerospace industries, plans to use the donated money to buy toys for the drive.

Our family received a number of donations after our son’s tragic murder, and we have donated them all to charities in his memory.
