Jesus loved prostitutes, he loved the lepers, he loved everyone. Who's to say he wouldn't love the gays just as much? Who's to say he wouldn't change his mind about the "a man should never lay with another man" spiel?
And you're going to take away their right to be officially in love? What if the Bible said black people weren't allowed to be equal? Haven't people noticed that things change in this society? Adolf Hitler thought the extinction of Jews was a good idea -- not. Americans thought slavery was the business -- negative. Government once had complete power over everyone in all aspects of life -- what now?
At this point in time, there are far worse things to be worried about than a marriage between two people that will probably not effect you in any way. Are you a man who doesn't want to see two men get married? Don't marry a dude and stay away from gay weddings -- simple as that. Are you a woman who may think less of her marriage because just anyone can get married nowadays?
Go on and fix the real problems in this world. There is hunger, slaughter, abuse, poverty, depression, disorder, addiction, loss -- and here you sit with a sign on your lawn that makes a statement against the happiness of a fellow human being.
If the pro-Proposition 8 people happen to win this ridiculous argument, I hope they know that even without marriage, these people will continue to "lay" with one another. They will continue to love one another. And they will continue to fight for the equality they deserve.
Vote no on Proposition 8.
