Re: Lourdes Yu's Oct. 15 letter, "Flynn solves problems":
If certain residents of Oxnard are either too lazy or too irresponsible and even selfish to keep garbage next to their neighbor's homes instead of using their very own garbage bins, play "loud bass music with ugly songs," speed on our thoroughfares, litter parking lots of shopping centers, block driveways of neighbors and practice animal abuse and cruelty, does Yu honestly think for one minute that Tim Flynn can change their bad habits and lack of respect for others?
Yu needs to realize this is a problem of ill-behaved individuals, period.
Look at Mayor Tom Holden's record. He has done miraculous things for Oxnard and will continue to do so, and I thank him profusely for turning Oxnard around and in the right direction.
I urge all to re-elect Holden on Nov. 4 and I thank him profusely for all the positive changes he has accomplished.
