Re: your July 13 editorial cartoon:
I know that The Star is a very liberal paper, but your printing of the political cartoon in Tuesday July 13, was way out of reason. The cartoon depicted the Russian spies being put on a plane with Uncle Sam, adding Lambaugh, Beck and Hannity as a bonus.
This is the reason your paper as well as others are fading due to lack of customers. These three individuals are more concerned with this country and have documented some of our country's serious problems. Because of their truthful messages, their ratings have skyrocketed and are viewed by millions of people worldwide. This cannot be said for your paper or many of the other liberal papers in this nation that are not representative of the people they serve.
Before you mock true patriots, you should look at yourselves, before you fade away due to lack of customers,

I am glad to see I wasn't the only one offended by the cartoon in the 7/13 opinion page of the Star.
Mr. Plaks is right on with his comments
Sean, Rush, Glenn, Bill,Mark, Michelle Malkin and a few others are telling the truth about what is happening in our once great Country. I myself am sick and tired of the progressives or liberals constantly lying to us. They usually try to demonize the Fox News people who speak honestly for all of us. They also try to use racism to describe the Tea Party movement and any who disagree with their socialistic ways.
November can't get here soon enough. Maybe then the silent majority can really speak their peace by ridding us of the big Government advocates who care less about any of us.
Expanded and out of control spending by our Government hasn't worked in the past and never will.
People like these, who applaud the lying, distortions and fraud of the past administration while hailing the Limbaughs of this world as true patriots are about all this "true American" can handle. I for one am so tired of being told that I am not a patriot becuase I disagree with a myopic right wing agenda that would take things back to exploitation of the working class, religious intolerance (wow! now theres is an irony!), xenophobia and overt greed. The indifference to the common citizen has been endemic for a long time...the platitudes of Liberty and Justice for all look good on paper, ring powerfully in the heart, but do not apply to all people who look to them for hope. This country was built on the legs of those who struggle to hold on to the precious threads on which their lives hang. I have never seen a Right Winger wash the feet of the poor...
I agree with Mr. Plaks. The Ventura Star will not print letters that go against their point of view. What a tragedy that we have to go to Fox News, O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and Hannity to get the truth about the Liberals and their rotten agenda for our country. I am a registered Democrat that has had it with that party. Kimme Isaiah Black is wrong that right wing people don't help others. But Conservatives believe that people need to stand on their own two feet and the people that truly need help will get it. This president is trying to create a nanny state for lazy people and people that have broken our laws by even being here. He is also jealous of wealthy people that have have worked hard and deserve to keep their money. He want's to put a cap on what a person can earn even tho he and his swinherd continue to suck off of the taxpayer. This country was built on hard work and struggles as Kimme said but not on the ideology this demagog has in mind for our country.
