The new Mojack album is the aptly named "Hijinks" and it's no longer all the way from Lawndale, California - SST Records is now in Taylor, Texas - evidently on purpose. Anyway, Mojack is a power trio, guitars by Greg Ginn, drums by Khalil Hebert and sax by Tony Atherton. Although ten songs are listed, it might as well be one long one as this comes off as the overlong soundtrack to a French junkie's fever dream in 1954.
