The latest from The Beautiful View is "Life Is Beautiful" and it's self-released. While more interesting than beautiful to echo their adjective of choice, this is often noisy, atonal pop, sort of like the Talking Heads for the new millennium, or other times, a competent rock band that succeeds on tunes such as "Bells." To quote their own Facebook entry, this San Diego band has released an album of songs "that sound like it should be on the radio."
