Activist-singer-songwriter Michelle Shocked, an outspoken member of the 99 percent with plenty to say about everything, will play the Ojai Woman's Club on Saturday night. If driving to Ojai is too convenient, Shocked will be at McCabe's in Santa Monica tonight.

Shocked has a long track record -- more than 20 years and a bunch of albums, and a slow-growing police record a well. She puts the "rock" in "occupy," as in "Roccupy," and walks the walk and talks the talk. Actually, her November arrest as part of Occupy L.A. was merely Shocked's most recent trip to Bar City.
