This Z.Z. might not actually be on top, but he's having fun anyway. Zack Zmed and his brother, Dylan, are the driving force between The Janks, a Tarzana-based folk-rock band that's gone through a slew of lineup changes over the past few years.

The group's most recent album, "Hands of Time," came out last year and featured the brothers collaborating with guitarist-keyboardist Garth Herberg. Zack was proud of the effort. "There's a duality to the record," he said at the time. "The material spans night and day on a variety of levels.
