Avan Lava is an up and coming - maybe already there - it's a bouncy techno pop dance band out of Brooklyn with tunes so sweet and frivolous, your ears may get cavities. Fully as dangerous as whistling in the backyard - this is a band that would have one of those tents at Coachella getting all jumpy. If you're under 30, floating on ecstasy, with a Stella in one hand and checking out the talent in the local meat market and Avan Lava is playing, well, you might be in temporary heaven.
