Milo Greene

The self-titled debut from Milo Greene is on Chop Shop/Atlantic. No one named Milo - just five voices harmonizing on these throwback tunes, not so much unlike those folk groups singing choir-like from back when your grandparents thought they were cool. "Silent Way" offers a thought that probably gets little traction with anyone under 30, "...when we're older, can I still come over?" or maybe it's just an update of "When I'm 64." The simple songs and solid vocals offer proof positive as to the veracity of the old adage, "It's so old, it's new."
