Love this title: "That Time I Dug So Deep I Ended Up in China." That's the title of the new one from SoSo, a beautiful Swedish electronic princess who also answers to Sonja Somajo or SoSo - get it? This is her second release (she also writes tunes for others) and it's still easy for her to split the dough with band because she is the band. SoSo recorded these albums in her room with a bunch of machines, but the question is obviously, what's in a name? Sometimes band names contain within themselves self-fulfilling prophesies - a couple come to mind, Failure and F Minus. Now Miss S. probably has no idea that SoSo in English is "eh + a shrug," just as the Korean automakers KIA, missed the boat on their handle, which has traditionally meant Killed In Action. So, here we have SoSo, average electronic music by another gorgeous woman who has the same voice as the other 700 disco divas doing the same thing.
