The new one from Fun is "Some Nights" and it's on educationally factual Fueled By Ramen. Now musicians should be careful when choosing a band name - the Blasters, Fun and Failure all seemed to have become self-fulfilling prophesies and for our purposes, there's never too much Fun. This is a great New York City indie band that is almost operatic and symphonic in a Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody" sort of way or maybe Fun meets Panic at the Disco - you figure it out. I'm trying to figure how high Fun will end up on my year end list and it's only August. Evidently, "We Are Young" is their hit but "It Gets Better" is another anthem-like rocker that will live in your head for daze, probably because frontman Nate Reuss sings better than everyone, always a good thing.
